Rosnan Rahman: Keeping the Makyong tradition alive

Share

Traditionally, one of the unique features of Makyong dance theatre is that the main characters are all women, and the men play the peripheral characters to add humour and side entertainment.

Rosnan Rahman is changing this trend as one of the first Male lead actors (or Pakyong) and carrying on the rich tradition of this UNESCO declared “intangible heritage” art form. Catch Rosnan in “Anak Raja Tangkai Emas” which is part of KLIAF 2018.
